Thank you for your interest in the Integrated Preschool Programs provided by the Newton Public Schools. Our eight Integrated Preschool Classrooms for 3, 4 and 5 year old children enroll 15 to 16 children per classroom. Integrated classrooms include children with and without disabilities. Each classroom is taught by a Masters Level Teacher and supported by 2-4 assistant teachers. A variety of therapists (occupational, physical, speech & language) spend 1-3 days in each classroom. The curriculum is developmentally appropriate, challenging and based on the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks. Additionally, our program is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
