Thank you for your interest in the Integrated Preschool Programs provided by the Newton Public Schools. Our ten Integrated Preschool Classrooms for 3, 4 and 5 year old children enroll up to 15 children per classroom. Integrated classrooms include children with special needs and students who are typically developing. Each classroom is taught by a Masters Level Teacher and supported by assistant teachers. A variety of therapists (occupational, physical, speech & language, etc.) spend 1-3 days in each classroom. The curriculum is developmentally appropriate, challenging and based on the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks.
